observations from the life of one homeschooling family

Today started out with a wonderful adventure to Holden Arboretum.

We went with several friends, and saw the Big Bugs exhibit, which was pretty cool. The bugs were made out of wood and other natural materials, and were hidden among the plants and ponds.

After coming home for lunch, we did some time worksheets, and practiced drawing clock hands and telling time.

In the afternoon, we spent some time swimming, and our hero repeated got his face wet, and he was thrilled to show me that getting water in his eyes is less of a problem than it used to be.
